Notice is hereby given that the Jackson County Board of Supervisors wilt accept sealed proposals for playground equipment and installation Vancleave Complex Parks and Recreation Department Jackson County, Mississippi until 12:00 p m. February 11, 2025, and said bids are to be opened and read aloud at 1:00 p.m. in the Jackson County Board of Supervisors Board Room located at 2915 Canty Street, Pascagoula. MS, 39567. Bids may be submitted by sealed envelope or electronic submittal. Sealed envelope responses should be addressed to Cindy Steen, Purchasing Director, 2915 Canty Street, Suite D, Pascagoula, Mississippi 39567. Electronic submittals may be made at www.jacksoncoplans.com: For any questions relating to the electronic submittal, please call Bidding Group at 662-407-0193. All seated responses must be on file with the Purchasing Director prior to or by the acceptance date and time as stated above. Vancleave Complex Playground Equipment

WILL BE RECEIVED ON FEBRUARY 11, 2025, UNTIL 12:00 P.M.

All proposals may be submitted electronically at www.jacksoncoplans.com no later than February 11, 2025.

It shall be incumbent upon each bidder to understand tie specifications as listed herein and to obtain clarification when necessary. It is not the intent of the specifications to limit the bidding to any make or manufacture of equipment or items of commodity, but rather to select such equipment and or commodities to fill a specific need and perform a specific task. Any reference to name-brand equipment or commodities is intended to establish standards only and bids submitted on equipment and commodities equal thereto shall be received and considered.

Qualifications must be accompanied by a security in the form of Certified Check, Cashier's Check or acceptable Performance Bond, Payable to Jackson County Board of Supervisors, in amount equal to at least three percent (3%) of the base proposal; such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who may be awarded the contact but who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal and executes the contract.

Each Vendor/Contractor shall be required to ensure the delivery and receipt of its sealed and/ or electronic bid by the agency prior to the new date and time of the bid opening. Late or incomplete proposals will not be considered. Modifications will not be considered after the closing date and time.

The Board of Supervisors expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or alt proposals or any part of any or all bids and waive any infomafities.
